JoAnn Fabric is selling poorer and poorer quality fabric but raising their prices. I have been purchasing burlap and osnaburg from JoAnn's for the past year, the prices have gone up three times (for a total of about $3 a yard increase). I understand price increases and know that cotton prices have increased so the osnaburg increase I could have excepted, if the quality of the fabric had remained the same. The supplier of both have changed since I started buying it and the quality is much less. It might sound odd to discuss the quality of either of these utility type fabrics, but I don't use them as utiltity fabric. The burlap they sell now is basically a grade that can be used for covering
flower beds. The discounts offered generally bring their over inflated prices to about what the better quality and even independent
fabric stores in my area charge - so good bye JoAnn's. I will support my local stores and stay away from this
corporate greed. 12925e2
